Romania did not want to let me go. I spent over 24 hours "leaving" and had one of the best times travelling! After hiking in the Bucegi mountians, I caught a train from Sinai to Bucharest, where I met Roxanna (pictured left). When we got back to Bucharest she chauffered me all about the city, taking my to churches, monasteries, museums, and giving me her story of Bucharest as well as her experience of the revolution. Then, when she had to let me go, she dropped me off at a bear festival downtown where I met some Romanian film stars that loved to party and tried to make me miss my train!
